I could also be mistaken but I believe a “recall” is just a formalized way of acknowledging a major manufacturing or design fault and providing instructions on how to fix it. The issue with nuclear fusion is the same issue that its had for the last 50 years and will have for the next 50. Its a materials issue and not a basic science/engineering issue. We know its doable and we know how to do it, just don’t have the material capable of doing.
