Here in WA we don’t use salt on our roads (except in some cities in emergencies) and as a result there are tons of older rust-free (or low-rust) cars on the road. We don’t inspect cars either yet don’t seem to have a ton of clap-traps on the road. Surely there is an alternative to salt that would work just as well?

The state could fix this by setting the minimum inspection charge at $50 or $75.

This is a big reason we need competent adult leadership in this country rather than the over-testosteroned frat boys that we all too often elect...

A movie that our leadership needs to re-watch.

Except that they recently have been loosing aircraft at a huge rate. Just in the last 2 months they have lost 6 airplanes including 2 of their 70 “Bear” bombers. At that rate the equation will be quite different in a year or two as they have no capacity currently to build replacements.

Thats far from being true, while times in Russia are harder now than they were 5 years ago life is much, much better than it was during the late ‘80s or after the big currency devaluation around 1998 and light-years better than it was under the Tsar. There certainly is a lot of corruption but to the average person

I’d be ok with it if Canada decided to annex Washington state...

Definitely a Fiat, the 124 Spider to be exact. Standard engine will be the 160 hp MultiAir and there is a rumored Abarth version with the Alfa 4C’s engine.

With no ugly entertainment system or radio. Absolutely ruins a beautiful interior...

2013 actually although that did not involve a US airline.

I don’t think there is much to worry about in an intentional sense. The Russian military, while impressive in a numbers sense, has some serious issues around availability and maintenance of assets, troop training, money for operations and command and control. Certainly they are a threat in Ukraine but Ukraine’s

My dad was a UAL DC-8 pilot during the period this livery was in use and it’s always been my favorite. UAL should dump the Continental globe and go back to this design IMHO.

IMHO they put to make it a 3-leg flight and stop in Renton long enough to get some photos parked in front of the factory, that would be way cool.

Well Chevrolet did sell 1.8 million Corvairs in the 1960s...

The most difficult question for me is “Should I wait for the 124 Spider?” That’s my plan now if for no other reason than hoping the Fiat didn’t have the stupid nav screen. More hp would be nice too but the nav screen needs to go.

Because they wanted to make something cheap you wouldn't feel guilty hitting with a hammer to remove? There is no other part on the cat that inspires me to wait for the Fiat 124 Spider more than the stupid radio/navy screen on the ND. Let's hope the Italians do a better job.

Yes he did!

The resort in Aruba we used to go to every year when I was a little kid in the ‘60s had several Jeep Surreys for use of the guests, most all of them pink. I remember them quite fondly and enjoyed riding in them the few times we took one out for a spin.

I’m thinking Studebaker Lark wagon...

The CHMSL is pretty large and uniquely located which makes me think 1986 - 1988 Dodge Colt/Mitsubishi Mirage (Mirage pictured, the Colt had slightly different tail lights without the bar across the middle). The example above is also a turbo, non-turbos did not have the sunshade and usually did not have the wiper
