It’s not only that.

If the radio goes from silent to blasting loud in a split second, this shock/surprise could very easily cause an accident.  The startle instinct alone could cause someone to jerk the wheel....no me gusta.

It’s insane to me how many staff shortages we have across industries in the US, and we know the solution is just to increase pay/reward, but we’ll do everything in our power to avoid having to pay people more.
