Sorry. You are correct. Ford lists the Mustang as a “car” on their website under the “SUVs and Cars” tab (even though cars in the plural is kind of misleading). Chevy keeps the Vette behind the “performance” tab.

Regarding your question of a Corvette Boxter, I don’t see much point. The base price for a Stingray convertible is $100 more than a stripped 718 Boxter. The Cayman is almost $5k more than a Stingray.

Mustang?

I had to go to the website and check... you’re right.

Isn’t the current Corvette essentially the new Fiero?  I mean the styling screams Pontiac with all the different color plastics, etc.  I like to think the C8 is GMs way of admitting they F’d up in 1988.

I’ve always thought that my next EV would be a Lucid. I sold a 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood and bought a Model 3. I miss the presence of the Cadillac, and having driven a Lucid, it seems to have that. Just need to make sure I can charge it at a Supercharger though.

Fuck Ohio.

Dude’s just a car guy. If he wants to drive around in 1st gear all the time, more power to him. I personally wouldn’t, but different strokes for different folks.

I am guessing they will just farm it out to a supplier.

I am guessing the laminated glass used on the door windows allows the “peeling.” If it were tempered glass like most cars, they would have just popped it with a spring punch.

RE: Corvette and SCCA Solo2. I remember when the L98 cars with automatics were unbeatable in the SS class. Even the later LT1 cars of that generation were no match.

Sounds like everything’s fine...

You’re right. The police do a pretty good job of keeping the anti-police sentiment going on their own. They don’t need my help.

Ford hot rods with SBC engines...

Seems like most of the stuff on the list thus far is already illegal or tightly regulated (extra lights, exhaust mods, window tint, squat, certain lifts, etc.). They’re just not enforced. When I was in high school my friend got a ticket in his lifted Bronco because the headlights were higher off the ground than what

Our man in Japan was excellent.

Got to hear an RC166 run in anger at Suzuka about 25 years ago. The noise that thing made is burned into the folds of my brain.

Maintaining resale is a fool’s errand. H-D did that by not being able to meet demand, which is bad.

The people that bought the T2 were young people.

It probably barely ran. It’s an old Evo ElectraGlide that someone had modified into a Road King clone. Why?
