I really thing Ram is on to something with the RamCharger.  Too bad we have to wait until after the REV comes out.

Regarding the interior: Isn’t this pretty standard GM truck from the times of yore? Lots of interesting features and innovations, cheap interiors, numb dynamics...

1974 Porsche 914 2.0

How did we get people to wear seatbelts? State laws that came with fines. How did we make states adopt seat belt laws? The federal government withholding transportation funds.

TBF, they did lie. Which, for an engineer, basically calls into question every decision they you’ve made. Looking forward to when this lead engineer is deposed for something and the plaintiff rolls this out.

At the time I had a 1966 Barracuda with a 340 and a 4 speed.  With a good launch I could hit a 13.9.  That felt like warp 9.

I was going to say Fiata as well.

As a child of the 80s, when a quick stock street car did the 1/4 in 13s, I am absolutely flabbergasted that the SLOWEST 911 will happily run 12s all day long.

I seem to remember a story a while back about training driving AI with Grand Theft Auto.

He did. He bought a second home in Montana and is now a 53 year old snowbird.

I guess if they keep them that busy, then they can’t look for another job...

Had a friend that went to work for Tesla in their engineering dept back in 2010. He was a technician and was paid hourly. On average he logged 700 hours of OT each year. The engineer he worked for had a cot in his cubicle and basically lived at the facility during the week. There was another guy that had an RV in the

There needs to be 4 of these on track for every F1 race going forward...

There’s been a Supercharger everywhere I have needed to go, so I don’t really have range anxiety. The car is also pretty accurate at projecting energy use.
