It wasn’t an airliner. It was a gutted test rig that happened to fly. Racks of test equipment and cables everywhere. Similar to flying in the cargo area of a C141 Starlifter.

There’s plenty of narrative type missions that can be done solo. It is also pretty easy to make yourself available to assist. You’ll see texts come on your in-game cell phone with people needing an extra body for a mission. I have spent many an evening going through a series of heist missions as a simple crew member wi…
I got to ride on the 91X as a kid. My uncle worked for M-D in Long Beach and I was a young aviation nut. Can confirm, it was loud as I was wearing hearing protection the whole time.
Some of the missions require more than one team member (Doomsday off the top of my head). However, there are a lot that can be done solo. Making these solo missions pay more and accessible in a session without a bunch of griefers is a big plus.
At a former employer we had layoffs in 2009. Usually there was some sort of “all-clear” noticed that let everyone know that all the people affected had been notified. We got that. Then a week later myself and a tech in my department were notified that we were affected, but that we had to stay for 6-months to get a…
All this and someone had the opportunity to buy a 1-off color Z06 and no one even bid on it.
Acknowledged.
That and battery degradation. I have a friend that bought one at auction and it only goes 40 miles on a full charge with the AC running. He knew that going in and it gets him to work and back so it was easier to justify. For $7k it’s turned out to be a great EV commuter for him.
So 1000 of these will be operational at any given time based on most experiences with EVGo and Electrify America.
5th gear: since Elon said he’d vote Republican, I’ve seen a lot more Teslas in my corner of AZ. Used to see 1/day. Now you see 4-5. Maybe correlation and not causation. That being said, there are tire shops in town that wont even change tires on an EV. As RATM said: Fear is your only god.
With the announcement that Tesla Superchargers would be open to non-Tesla cars, I watched this video today:
Wife and oldest son got it 2 weeks ago. Myself and my youngest son managed to avoid it.
Whatever transpired before, the swerving into oncoming traffic to hit/scare the guy in the bike crossed a very big line. Reckless driving should be one of a host of charges. Also, this guy is obviously a great candidate to have his guns taken away.
True. He gets “paid” in stock options so...
In a management town hall at my company recently, someone asked the CEO why one of our company metrics was to match or exceed S&P500 performance. “Why isn’t making a ton of profit enough?” CEO spent the next 5 minutes not answering the question.
I’ve seen a couple people looking to do lease transfers on Teslas and the LEASE payment was over $1k/mo.
Knock a kid over = 3rd degree assault
This. Before I bought my Model 3, I was looking at other EVs (Bolt EUV, EV6, etc.). I watched quite few EV channels on YouTube. Almost all of them bemoaned the non-Tesla networks. Pulling up and finding them non-functional or severely limited was not uncommon. Then you had to deal with an app and hope that it would…
Funny. I thought the same thing. I love R&M.
