He didn’t break a law/statute. Was it a dick move? Yes. Being a dick is <looks around> obviously not illegal.

They don’t have to replace the panel. They can do a sub off your existing panel with it’s own breaker.

I guess if you have a power outage? When the car’s in the garage, it’s on charge.

It’s crappy. However, it is nothing unique to software QA.

I’ve been a few years without a “car.” Our family fleet has been my dad’s old pickup and a rotating selection of minivans and SUVs. A couple years ago I bought a 1976 Fleetwood at an auction on a fluke. It was immediately my favorite car in the fleet, because it was a car. The seating position felt natural. I didnt

Placed a deposit on a Model 3 on the first day. The $35k model didn’t materialize, so I got my money back. Put a deposit on an F150 Lightning. Was notified a few weeks ago that I wasn’t getting a 2022, so I got my money back.

Let me know when something like that actually happens in a big corporation.

I would counter and say that they might even bring negative value.

I get a lot of reading done. Most ships have a library of some sort. There’s usually no one in there.

Birds don’t vote. Especially the migratory type. LOL.

Came here to type exactly what you said.  Take your star.

The Salton Sea is already an environmental nightmare from all the pesticide/fertilizer pollution. The majority of people that still live in or frequent the area will be more happy about the potential economic boost rather than anything else.  The ones that are against it probably don’t want to speak up to much because

So is this an issue with a car like my wife’s Lincoln that “wakes up” when you get close to the car with the fob in your pocket?  Similar tech?

It’s always struck me as odd, that I could buy an off-highway vehicle (SxS), that doesn’t meet noise/emissions/safety for on-road, and buy some turn signals for it and get a tag and insurance. But if I brought in an R34 from Japan, a car that is arguably safer, quieter and cleaner than the RZR, I can’t get a tag

My favorite article this year.

Have you seen that new RevIt sweater? Whitby. Amazing technology.

I’d encourage a trip to the dealer. Since Pan Am hit, there’s lot’s of AeroStitch Power Rangers there now. The seem to be able to peacefully co-exist with the black-leather crowd. I was worried that the Pan Am folks would be treated like Buell owners.  That doesn’t seem to be the case.  It is truly a weird dynamic

GM’s old 5000 acre Desert Proving Grounds in Mesa is slowly being gobbled up by housing, data centers and soccer fields, but there are still remnants.

They’re actually pretty simple compared to working on a car. Switches, solenoids and light bulbs. My Judge Dredd has a microprocessor to run some of the different game modes and the display, but it’s pretty bulletproof 1990s tech. The parts that wear out are readily available.
