There are a lot of negatives if you look at big unions, and I get that. And I hate strikes, they're stupid. But in the last 50 years, as unions have been marginalized, the workers have made less and less. And I don't think that having a CEO 'push a button' for millions is better than having your uncle and 99 others

You better rethink your decision here. You're making a career mistake. Are you sure you drive a Prius? ha.

And the Jetta is a rental car now! I can't remember that in the US before.

The older I get, the more I appreciate the classics, who survive on the wisdom of our elders. Iliad is so perfect as a nod to the importance of glory, which we so cleverly dismiss as meaningless vanity and grasping at greatness. Wisdom, we're told, is self-control and long term thinking and reliability, and it is.

LEGOS! Yes, it looks awesome. It's like an anime van stuck in the real world, like Lupin should be shagging in the back with the curtains drawn and some yakuza sneaking around underneath. Oh, my, it's too cute to be a bad car, right?

This needs to be in an episode of Lupin.

I miss the old system. Most of the reason to come to a blog is to read the comment, and now that's all obscured and such clickety-clickety work. And your search 'system' still doesn't work in the new gawker layout in Chrome, now, what, year later? Why don't scrollbars appear in the sidebar still?

Ah, the real reason Ray Wert left, a new COMMENTING SYSTEM FROM GAWKER! He'll wait for this to blow over and then come back.

This just gets funnier and funnier.

I think it's humor, man, you should check it out sometime.

Did Columbia conquer Florida and no one noticed?

Agreed. Orange, Green and then 'ricer bestickered' seems the most appropriate.

It isn't a surprise that car sales will be down and stay there.

I don't smoke. But I need a cigarette, now.

I'd argue that the Japanese way is far more authoritarian, and Jobs was far more Zen, though obviously he was a tyrant when building the company, he really matured and mellowed in the other direction, or perhaps just became more clever in asserting himself as he grew older (don't we all?).
