Sorry in case it wasn't obvious high speed stopping is my bad attempt at humor for what happens if the car crashes and goes from 120mph to 0mph in a very abrupt way. I realized as I read through the comment again that it was poorly worded.

I had a good laugh at this. What's even funnier is that I believe the question to be valid on a basic level.

The car will be able to complete full laps with zero CO2 emissions and will be refuelled after each stint with 7.7 lb of hydrogen as well as gasoline. Four ultra-high strength carbon fiber tanks will hold a total of 7.7 lbs of hydrogen stored at a pressure of 350bar during the race.

I kept reading the article waiting for the part that told me about how the speeders were filmed and what not. Were they digitally inserted later? Was he just filming parts of the forest? I must know the rest of the story!

They probably want to keep the keys together so they can have both when they eventually sell the abused, hooned car to some poor sap. But still, fuck them. The gut-level, visceral rage and frustration at seeing two keys locked in a car, knowing that if they weren't so fucking stupid, you wouldn't be stuck waiting an

How can you say you like that? I would like that on maybe a Camaro, a Mustang, or a Corvette. Something relatively cheap to buy. I do NOT like it on a gorgeous super car.

In the world of paper pushers I'm wondering if it simply takes a period of time for it to be updated. I'd be curious if it shows up a few months later. Meaning if you get in a fender bender fix it and sell it before CarFax can tell someone about it.

What is autocheck I've never heard of it?

How about just sacrificing about $50 bucks on an iRacing subscription with some content and then $100 on a logitech DFGT wheel and own a PC less than 5 years old?

I'm all for penalties and what not for breaking the rules, but lets make sure we 1) Punish the appropriate party and 2) let the punishment fit the crime.

Oak Tree at VIR and Sunset Bend at Sebring are both extremely well known and should be on the list.

Can you help me understand why Kimi Raikkonen was awful in NASCAR? I mean it is easy to do, right?

If they were really thinking they'd sponsor endurance racing like the 24 hours of Le Mans or other lengthy races. Drivers doing double and triple stints frequently have to just let go. This would be an awesome place to use a functional tie in.

If I was to pick anything from Circuit de la Sarthe I would have to say the Porsche Curves. They seem to be so off camber and just don't flow. Combine that with cars running far less downforce than they typically run and you've got a high speed recipie for disaster. I believe Le Mans has the fastest corner in the

I really have to +1 this. Behind Turn 1 at indy in an Indy car this is the most difficult corner on an oval in the world. There's a reason most of the cars leave that race with a stripe on the right side of their car.

Check out my "pending submissions." Sorry I don't feel this corner. It can be taken flat out in an F1 car properly setup. All it really is is a corner that never ends and is unwinding on top of that. If you compare it to a turn like spoon curve at Suzuka that is a decreasing radius sweeper with an awkward change

I'd like to un-nominate the Casino Square hairpin at Monaco. The corner is one of the slowest in all of motorsports. There's not much to it. The Swimming pool and ras-case (I know I spelled it wrong) are far more challenging because they're done at high speed and the result of getting it wrong is putting it into

The carousel is harder but Turn 9 into Thunder Alley is even harder. High speed right hander opening over a crest. The car loses grip as you crest the hill so you can't go half as fast as you might be able to if there wasn't an elevation change. The end result of getting that corner wrong is ending up in the wall.

I have to echo the person who posted Indianapolis Turn 1. 240mph on the edge of grip in a car that typically carries a lot of downforce that is carrying almost no downforce where the end result could be death...

Honestly the turn BEFORE the corkscrew is more difficult and critical to a good lap time IMO.
