Really? How do you counter the "women are subservient to men, especially in leadership roles" thing and the "no birth control for you" thing? Both of those policies really screw women over, don't you think?

There's plenty in Catholicism that takes a giant shit on women. These sorts of comments are perfectly in line with their doctrine.

I was thinking about this as well. Greater contact and visibility have gone a long way in my career.

It would be really awesome if managers at all levels would lay out their expectations. I mean shit, I shouldn't have to read what my manager wants on a completely unassociated website. I have no problem making my boss look good, but first s/he's going to have to tell me what makes them look good in the first place.
