After the last post about this I saw them doing it a week or so later here in Akihabara.  Still obstructing traffic.  I know some might think I’m being harsh, but traffic is bad enough without these things on the road here.

I know that’s what the dialogue says, but on screen there’s not a lot of evidence of devouring. Liv and Abigail are looking pretty good twenty years into their so called digestion. Liv’s still on her “protect the kids by killing them” kick, but she’s lucid enough to bargain with Hugh. And Nell is better than ever

Cordoning off tourists isn’t a bad thing. How they tolerated that as long as they did at Tsukiji baffles me.

Now that the problems have been spotted in practice, I predict that the Japanese will have everything fixed in 2 days tops.

People are assholes for even pretending this is a possibility. Folks may dump on Little Caesar’s for its old days, but the current quality is obviously hand-tossed fresh pizza that is not in any way something you could mistake for a frozen pizza. It looks nice. Would you serve a lobster tail without the shell? No. It looks terrible. And you said it when you mentioned clams (or mussels) in their shells. The same would go for oysters - you wouldn’t serve those without the shells, either.

Well, they weren't much help when Spaceball One suffered an outbreak of Cadmium 3 and everybody but a slob, an uptight hologram and a cat survived! Or when the Firefly captain Gene Starwind accidentally steered the ship into an Interstellar Event Horizon!

I think the best Star Wars tech would be teleporters, you know, just like Kirk and Picard used to get places.

Isn’t the joke in Star Wars that the tech doesn’t really make anybody’s life better? I mean, this is a universe where autonomous robot labor is (presumably) cheap and widely available, but people still have slaves to handle menial tasks.

After the insurance company paid out the claim, it became the owner.
