Not sure if you’ve seen the most recent episodes of RHOA, but Marlo’s behavior (and that of the RHOA production company) reached an all-time low.

I don’t have a problem with it, but he is completely tone deaf to be bragging about how his daughter got in on her own merits.  I mean she may very well be qualified, but when you have $70 million backing your application, it is hard to claim that you “got in on your own.”

For $70 million, I doubt they cared about the grades or test scores.

This. He’s basically paying $70M for tuition, and his gift benefits many many students. I don’t see anything wrong with this.

He just went old school and bought a building. Now, I don’t care who you are, if you give a school $70M, then everyone in your family should get in.  As long as they have the grades and test scores.
