Not “impossible”, just difficult. There are many exact scale models of the solar system, you just have to travel a bit to see it all. There’s one in DC starting outside the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. The Sun is the size of a grapefruit; Pluto is a half mile away.

Space is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist, but that’s just peanuts to space.
