it will such a nice big upgrade and a hell of a development work for the merc guys to set up such a vehicle. Its all about the market: people just seem to love the G more than ever. production numbers are exploding. AMG models being sold in huuuge numbers to all over the world. Magna rebuilt the whole production line…

yes. aussies and scandinavians drive the 6x6 military version since some year. with different wheelbases. but on one of those wheelbase versions the 6x6 AMG is built.

and dont forget about the new transformers movie. michael douglas will be the voice of the 6x6. which matches great if you ask me.

lets wait and see what Land Rover will come up with soon... rumours are around since a while, that they will establish a new model parallel to the professional / military defender for the civilian customers... like the G-Wagen guys do with the 463 and 461...

dont worry, they wont. minimal changes on the inside, but the wagen will stay the wagen. I am pretty sure we will see it on the road 2017+

It will have a manual. with some fancy intermediate throttle logic... :-)
