Initially I saw Kiki as the blobby one because Kiki sounds like a fun name and that's a fun shape. After reading the article, though, I totally get the logic for the other way.

I remember this movie frustrating me when I was little because it was so bizarrely different from the video games. I don't mind it so much now, although I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.
