Yes. As a kid I was always unsure if I would still play games as a grown man or if I would “grow out of it.” It is still my favorite passtime, but I have grown to absolutely loathe gaming culture as a whole.

Sorry, as a US citizen I speak in absolutes about the world when only referring to US society.
I am not naive. This particular exclusivity deal is complete BS as Take Two knows they will sell at least 14 million copies (the number RDR 1 sold) and likely close to double that amount (based upon GTA Vs ridiculous success). As such, TT knows they don’t need to raise the extra revenue. However, if this was Bully 2…
While annoying, something to keep in mind is that while the prices of games have been stagnant for over a decade and show no sign of increasing (if game prices rose with inflation new games would cost $76.08) the cost of development has skyrocketed during that same time period. As such developers and publishers need…

I didn’t say you are wrong, I just said that you are associating yourself with 45*.
I am aware. However, one is used by 45* and the other is used by every lawyer ever. Pick which one you rather be associated with.
You spelled judgment like 45* does. Fix that.
Seems like most people are rooting for them to flop, maybe because they hate the fans
Remember after last series when all of the Process fans came out of the woodwork to say they don’t want LeBron because it will mess with Simmons/Embiid’s development? Man, I am so glad it didn’t take too long for those fuckers to look foolish.
Dumb dumb, an oppressed person is oppressed. An oppressor is oppressing someone. By its nature one is much worse than the other. Over time an oppressed person can become an oppressor, but then they are no longer an oppressed person.
What about the theme of “power corrupting all” is problematic?
Honestly, it has been too long since I played the game to develop a critique at that level, I just remember being uncomfortable with how they depicted the working class because it rang hallow and it went against what I believed to be its central theme. I keep wanting to replay it, but then I end up playing other games…
I mean...it’s not impossible. It’s just a story set in a flying city.
It paints the oppressed as being as bad as oppressors, which by its very nature is impossible.
I think the politics of Bioshock Infinite is problematic to a lot of people (myself included) and a lot of people saw the game as one long escort mission. I, however, view it as the best game in the series despite some of its flaws.
Watch the movie, it definitely doesn’t do what you assume it does (and what I assumed it would do before watching it).
This is pure marketing bullshit. There were already about 50 X-Men films at that point and team movies is in no way a new concept, unless you want to say that The Avengers inspired movies like The Italian Job and Ocean’s 11.
Longtime California drinker (southern specifically). The bars in LA and breweries in Orange County all keep the cards, everyone else gives them back.
Someone the other day said that The Ringer is a parody sports site. After reading that, everything made sense.
