Yes. I was so excited to see where they would take the lore after III (I was actually hoping they would allow the world to go apocalyptic at the end of III instead of Desmond saving the world just so we could have had a modern AC and they wouldn’t have to design around guns) but then they didn’t know where to take it

I despise Patrick Beverly, so I honestly would have felt a little bit better. I am hoping against hope that with CP3 leaving so early they will be able to lure Blake and JJ back and finally fire Doc.

I just checked Wikipedia, it appears Syndicate is bookended by modern plot, but it was so insignificant that I honestly didn’t remember it at all.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

IIRC the lore effectively ended in III due to Desmond’s death. In IV and Unity (never played Rogue, but would love to one day) the modern framework was built around employees at an Ubisoft type company and introduced a third faction into the dynamic. But even that was completely dumped in Syndicate.

That is a hilariously dumb name.

Why does Iverson’s jersey say “Company” on the front of it?

Whenever Trump says something conclusively that means he is lying. I didn’t believe there were tapes until that tweet, now I am convinced the tapes exist.

Well, and local prejudices which comes uniquely with this case as Wisconsin would have to essentially say that we allowed you to be wrongfully convicted not once, but twice. And there is no way in hell they want to admit to that.

There were several moments throughout their “interview” that the police made obvious mistakes that would make it easy for any judge to determine that the confession was coerced, regardless of his mental ability. I have no idea what took so long for a judge to see this.

There were so many procedural problems with both Avery trials that should be grounds for new trials that I was just constantly screaming at my TV. I am glad that the checks and balances within the justice system may finally be kicking in to help save Brendan.

Favs says the check is in the mail.

The legend of Sam Hinkie, however, will apparently live forever.

I am white and don’t think what you wrote is racist. It is antagonistic as hell though.

Once James returned, they made up.

O’Callaghan’s story is incredibly tragic, but likely not atypical for a former NFL player. While it sounds like he struggled to find self-worth and satisfaction with his life before, I hope being so open about his struggles allows him to find the peace he so obviously deserves.

I don’t think the Lakers pick is going to convey to the Celtics, so they ultimately will use Hinkie’s biggest swindle (of the Kings) for the No. 1 pick. I think Hinkie was excellent at identifying a market inefficiency. At the time when he was offloading assets, everyone was still of the mindset of getting current

Simmons may be a great passer, but he can’t shoot worth a damn, and that has been one of the main handicaps on the T-Wolves for so many years.

Yep, I misread Covington’s pro-basketball reference’s page. However, Embiid played a grand total of 31 games at 25.35 minutes per game. He is still a rookie to me, unless you want to call him a 4th year player.

So, you are saying that a team full of rookies (Simmons, Fultz, and Embiid) and second year players (Saric and Covington) is going to win 40 games? Even assuming that they all stay healthy (Ha!), there is literally zero precedent for that. Who is being willfully ignorant now?
