You need to get out of your bubble, for real.
You need to get out of your bubble, for real.
Pixar movies run at 24 FPS, yet they don’t have the camera blur solution. They look fine to me. Guess that post wasn’t that definitive, was it?
You’re just jealous that Kevin Durant beat up your puny little team, he is clearly the best player ever, after being complete garbage last season. You can trust me, I have three years of experience of watching a single series of each round of the playoffs.
And I appreciate that, I know there are some people that can immediately tell what the framerate of a game is, I am not one of those people and I don’t think the vast majority of people can unless it is too slow but I can understand why you would want the highest frame rate possible because it directly effects your…
4K is not at at market saturation yet, so designing consoles to one day take advantage of the tech that likely won’t be widely adopted until the next gen of consoles (at the earliest) is also overkill and stupid. However, what I like about the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X (in theory because I will never buy either of those…
A reddit post is in no way definitive on this topic.
It is a fact. There are around 50 million PS4s in the wild. Do you honestly think that of the 50 million PS4 owners that close to 25 million can distinguish between 60 and 30 FPS or tell you the benefits of 60 FPS over 30 or the compromises to the graphical fidelity the developers have to make in order to hit 60 FPS?…
I touched on this farther down this thread. There isn’t that much of an appreciable difference between the game checking whether you pulled the right trigger 24 times in a second versus 60 times in a second unless you are doing high-end competitive gaming.
Yea, I don’t deny that some people definitely can see the difference between 30 or 60 FPS (personally, the only time I notice it is when the frame count is too high and makes me motion sick, which generally only happens on remasters of older games). I am only stating as you have, the vast majority of gamers, including…
I am not clicking on a link. If you can’t articulate and defend the reasons yourself, then you have no viable argument.
Movies have nothing to do with frames in video games
Is this the part where you get into the fact that games, unlike movies have input connected to the frames and so in order to have the greatest 1:1 response time you need the game to check to make sure you haven’t pressed RT 60 times every second?
I am in the minority of hardcore CoD multiplayer fans, or other competitive fighting/shooting games, but I am sure as shit not in the minority for gamers that don’t play solely for the multiplayer (which is by far the biggest audience).
Your comment leads me to believe that you are someone that cannot handle another person having a differing opinion without responding with snark. I am sorry that you are in the minority on this issue, but you are. You will find a lot of people that agree with you, but you will find way more that simply do not care…
Me and the vast majority of people do not benefit much from a difference of 30 FPS. While I understand that a very small (but very vocal) sub-set of the community demand 60 FPS on any game that has a competitive multiplayer scene, it is hardly necessary for most people to glean enjoyment from their products.
At this point the Xbox One has a pretty good library of exclusive games. If you don’t think that it is worth picking up at this point, then you will never be moved to do so.
Few games struggle to hit 30 FPS, and 60 FPS is generally unnecessary overkill.
Microsoft’s entire E3 presence is one big sales pitch.
You are a very angry troll. Btw, the 9/11 commission report was released in 2004. Damn that Barry and his time traveling!
He didn’t have his team do a 2 for 1 and had them not foul for about 12 seconds when they were down 1 with 24 seconds (or so) left in the game.
