universally accepted by those without an agenda that Curry was not anywhere near healthy during last year’s finals.

This is the dumb thought process that led to the wave of Tea Party reps taking over. They are real constituents, just because you don’t like what they say doesn’t mean you get to completely invalidate them by saying they aren’t really your constituents. That’s what gets a whole bunch of people upset and motivated to…
What is hilarious, is I bet you were pissed when everyone talked about how the Warriors got lucky when they won their championship because of of how banged up the Cavs were and how they didn’t have to play anyone tough. The Finals ended in a fluky fashion because the Warriors choked. Make any excuse you want, but that…
Yo, I don’t dislike the Warriors at all. I lived in the area the year the Warriors won their first championship and was pulling for them both the year they won and the year they lost (as they were the local team and my favorite team was no where to be seen). I am telling you what I saw with my own eyeballs (and I know…
Half of those players couldn’t make an All-Star team in today’s NBA.
You don’t really get how the NBA works, do you?
But that is always true when a team makes 3 consecutive finals, which happens a decent amount, and almost never does that translate to them making it a 4th time. It is just too much mileage, and too much ego inflation for it to be sustainable for that long, even if as we sit here right now we can’t see the heir…
And who was on that Thunder team that lost a 3-1 lead? Kevin Durant! The arguments regarding LeBron’s mental toughness was always BS as they relied on the fact that because he made the smart basketball play (passing to an open man) that meant he was afraid of the moment. The idea that the Warriors lack mental…
I think the Wizards will take a step back before they take their next step forward, and as much as I hate Boston, depending on how things break this summer, they could definitely take advantage of a worn down Cavs team, and the Spurs are always looming.
Thank you. Everyone seems to skip over this when discussing Jordan, he found success only after the Bird Celtics/Showtime Lakers/Bad Boys Pistons fell off a cliff and there was a talent vacuum. Also, by skipping a season and a half he kept a lot of mileage off his body, I don’t know that they win all/any of their…
Historically speaking, very few teams make it to 4 finals in a row, with I believe only the LeBron Heat and Showtime Lakers accomplishing the task since the merger. It is incredibly unlikely that either of these teams make it back next season, let alone both.
I was initially turned off by the non-Grantland people coming in, but I have taken to their writing quite a bit, and now prefer them to a lot of the old guard. I will agree on the site structure itself, it is fucking miserable and damn near impossible to find the content I am looking for.
Counterpoint: the only thing garbage about The Ringer is its comment section, the content itself is top-notch.
I think all of the Warriors suffer from a lack of mental toughness. When the pressure is put on, Draymond starts punching people in the dick and the rest of them start blanking on shots they hit all the time (and do other incredibly dumb things). I think LeBron scares the crap out of them and they see him as a…
I read his ramblings. His writing was never stellar, but when I first found him I thought he had an interesting perspective. But now he writes so infrequently, and so lazily (almost every article is a mailbag) that it is honestly a waste of space. I think he still puts on a good podcast though (although, his taeks…
Simmons also had a short-lived weekly TV show on HBO that was canceled due to dismal ratings.
I try to bring this up in every article I see about LaVar Ball. It isn’t just that he is an attention whore, it is that he is literally taking money from his kid(s).
Oh no, an attentive black father who is manipulating his three sons to maximize his own publicity by using their talents and value and has signed his own son(s) to shoe deals with his brand so that he, and only he profits from them. How tragic.*
Many of those movies have been on Netflix repeatedly. They cycle through movies, not necessarily because of contractual reasons, but instead it keeps overhead costs down and increases excitement for their service (which is why every month approximately 1,000,000,000,000 of these articles hit the web).
It is because the Republicans have weaponized the American Dream. Every single low income Republican voter believes their life station is both temporary and outside of their control (often the cause are the scary brown people/liberals), and that they will be rich soon enough.
