A few weeks ago I said that I thought Bill Simmons was probably the best NBA/sports interviewer on the podcast game. I was wrong. It's undoubtedly JJ Reddick.

I was going to make fun of you for being so florid and emotionally bare in describing how their music makes you feel but I realized that I have had that exact same emotional journey over albums that you described and now I need to listen to this band immediately. My heart grew three sizes today.

That is almost the most Cleveland thing I have ever seen. If only there were a sports team losing in heartbreaking fashion on a TV in the background.

It does give the camera crew for NBA games something to go to commercial on, so that's something.

The more derivatives of derivatives of derivatives of the Sopranos are made the more people are going to forget just how revolutionary it was.

That seems even more narrow than how most rock fans would define it. No acoustic? Does lyrical subject matter matter?

Gross.

Define rock and roll. Assume it's not self evident.

It's already blurred man. Kanye West can call himself a rock star and nobody bats an eye. Not saying there's no merit to your argument but just know that that battle's been lost for a long time.

Are there not like a million places you can go read entertainment news that never talk about "social issues"? I'm just saying, you know by now what you're gonna get when you come here.

Good to know, thanks. I'm not far enough into it to know who is a fan favorite character or not (Carlos, probably? I remember a "Steve Carlsberg" just because of the fucked up way the narrator pronounces it) so that will probably be annoying but I'll go in with an open mind.

I feel that.

That implies he doesn't have any investment in what he's saying. I think he does.

What is the action you recommend here? Is there an option that you wouldn't also find offensive?

What the fuck does cis have to do with anything?

Do you really think that was literally the argument? There was no more nuance to it than that? It was literally someone commanding you that you have to treat everyone exactly the same, and not someone attempting to start a discussion of the ways in which overweight people are treated not just different, but worse in a

I kinda doubt that.
