The type of dude you're responding to is just going to start operating on the lizard brain the second he sees the word "patriarchy".
I didn't see that movie but was it handled well? Or did the movie kind of treat him like a freak for being into her?
TRY AGAIN
Yes. Plenty of it, with new enemies, weapons, and abilities. And the level design in some of them (Citadel in particular) is pretty cool.
Agreed. Dude takes 30 (not as funny as he thinks they are) words to say what could have been said in two.
Eh, he just doesn't have a lot of patience for his guests it seems. Like last week's Hanford/Kalpakis characters were funny but he was weirdly dismissive of a lot of their jokes and pounced on any mistakes they made. And not in the normal pedantic Aukerman way, he seemed generally annoyed and it ground the show to a…
If you have the game's worth of money needed to buy the DLC for ME3, now is the time to play it. I'm not kidding, that's one of my favorite ever games with all the DLC included. However from what I've seen of the base game and it's handling of the ending, you would be better off staring at a wall for 8 hours.
This could not be more perfect. Of all the video game characters to pick, of course Trump would retweet the Illusive Man.
Huh.
No don't, it's just that I've heard your complaint a lot and I was wondering if it was really a severe drop in quality or whether it was just something I could avoid being bothered by if I stayed away from the hardcore fans.
I don't usually like to psychoanalyze podcast hosts because what the fuck do I know but Scott Aukerman has sounded genuinely unhappy and irritable for the past month or so of CBB and it's affecting my ability to enjoy the show. If that's just some weird bit I hope he cuts it out soon.
See for me they did a good job of showing how there was a lot more to the story than the baseline description you just gave. The way you described it is the way the media presented it to the country but the podcast did a very good job of showing the exact systemic and personal failures that led to what happened (and…
I turned off that Aimee Mann IWTT precisely because I was put off by her lack of knowledge about the movie and explicitly thought to myself "Man, I wish she was talking about when she was in that Rush video instead." So now I have egg on my face
Strax is the closest, but even then he feels more like a collection of quirks than a character. None of their character traits have ever effected their roles in the plot, when it comes to how they impact the story they are all just plucky quipping sidekicks who arrive to save the day.
Me, until they give those characters personalities.
"Did anyone else get the vibe that Scott's attracted to Gary Giombetta."
I just started this podcast, am really digging it, and have tickets to see a live show at the end of the week. How bad has it gotten? Like I'm mildly annoyed by the tweeness but the show is usually good enough to overcome that. Will I be annoyed by the fanservice even if I pay absolutely zero attention to…
In all honesty I apologize. It was obviously in poor taste and I shouldn't have assumed everyone would be cool with an edgy reference to something horrible
And what kind of asshole would do that.
