A friend of mine with a BMW once told me that analog tire pressure gauges were good enough, and that you should never spend the extra money on a digital one, because nobody needs that much precision in their tire pressure measurements.

Just the idea of WRITING that episode touches all the right nerd bits. :)

The episode almost felt like a villain origin: (1) uses her powers for revenge, (2) lets an innocent go to jail for her actions, (3) traps boyfriend in a loop to teach him a lesson, (4) even though capable of love, concludes “love makes you soft.”

Oddly enough, stopping Yetis was the number two reason Betsy Devos gave for arming teachers.

The only photos of Michelle we have rights to are of her alongside Patton. So it was either a close, awkward crop, or something resembling the one I used, which I think is actually sort of sweet—especially because he has continued her work.

Sounds to me like he’s going to be struggling to walk the line between a New York accent and being Tom Hardy.

I do kind of miss the differing gravity levels in the books (eg Io has much lower gravity, so Mei and the Dr should have been bouncing around), but at the end of the day, I can imagine how much more effort it would be to film anything other than 1G.
