It seems like a lot of these stories involve tasing someone... that person somehow gets the taser... they feel threatened and apparently have to kill a guy.

Point One And Only: cops should not have been called because someone was sleeping it off in their car in a Wendy’s parking lot. Was he driving? Was he a danger? No. He was wasted and needed a place to hole up for a bit. Good for him.

I imagine a lot of this has to be due to Quarantine, everything being closed, and the fact that people can’t just run away from.  I’m choosing to see this in good faith and that, despite how fucking slow it took some people, people are finally seeing this country for what it is.

The romanticism of cops has been going on longer then many people here have been alive. Dragnet, Adam 12, etc have being promoting cops as deities for ages. That’s the next thing to go, Hollywood’s never ending boner for cops.

Mayor Fischer is the Mayor. He is the duly elected executive of Louisville. Those cops are employees of the people of Louisville.
