Watched John Cassavetes's "The Killing of a Chinese Bookie." It was my first Cassavetes film and I had a good time soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the great cinematography. Story-wise it was a slow burn, but I knew about that going in so I went with it. Cool performance by Ben Gazzara.
