All of Davis’ games were gems. The Occult Chronicles is probably my favorite - an utterly ahead of its time roguelike card battler with rpg elements years before Slay the Spire was a thing.

The fact that both Cryptic Comet and Mousechief have basically stopped making games is something that makes me sad to this day.

Does it hurt knowing you’re inferior? And not because of your race or genetics, not because of any tricks, but because you’ve made yourself a pathetic excuse for a human being who did the exact opposite of growing up all on your own?

ffs “grognard blows new way to play game wildly out of proportion”
you say this may divide the hobby like this isnt already the most divisible group of nerds in existence. every change is treated like a god damn existential crisis while completely ignoring that none of the old ways to play are going away or changing.

the wad of hair and soap-scum that is Gamestop never quite reaches the drain.

I worked for GameStop after 10 years, and I can say it doesn’t seem like the place it once was. From 2006-2011 was the most fun I’ve had working for any job until its demise from a store shutdown! My store staff were some great people.

Wow.

Hold on there, Satan.

The obvious solution here is to make sure everyone is under a big old non-compete agreement and are not allowed to work anywhere else again if they quit.

Except you can’t. Non-compete clauses have been defined very narrowly by courts over the years, to prevent them from being used as de facto indentured servitude. They’re pretty much limited to ‘Using knowledge and skills particular to and acquired at one company to aid a competitor.’ You have to define those areas

Tesla is about to have a massive brain drain. Musk just put an enormous target on all of his employees who don’t want to go back to the office to be subject to what’ll end up being a pretty easy recruitment drive.

Not shitting on him, just stating the fact that we are all awesome. xD

It’s because Gamers™ all look exactly like this:

As is noted in the article,

But again, other countries have social media and cell phones and don’t have this problem…but they don’t have the gun culture we do.

They’re not—because the world is absolute garbage and beyond saving. Nobody responsible for anything like this will face consequences that measure up to their offense. I’d give anything to be wrong, but I don’t feel like I am.

There’s not competitive mode in this game, right? Just Co-op? And I assume this isn’t a WoW, rushing for world firsts, raiding type situation? If so, does it really matter if a class gets buffed?

Why do so many goddamn grown adults not understand that being banned for violating a company's terms of service isn't in any way a threat to your freedom of speech?

How high are you right now?

Forget it, Blinky. It’s Chinatown.

What are you doing step-Pac?
