softroaders

I love it. I got myself a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4 for $300, and that thing pretty much goes wherever I want to.

To be fair a 1st gen Sorento is a classic BOF/solid rear axle SUV with a part time transfer case. Actually fairly under-the radar and affordable offroaders.

Is that a Porsche Cayenne at 4:35? lol

I don’t need to tell you but people pushing softroaders to the limit offroad is my jam.

That’s a pretty interesting group of “trucks”!

If only there were a way to do the same to all the other left lane hogs. Good going.

I don’t have a problem with that, your musical tastes however.. Your voice sounds pretty deep for a 13 year old girl.

We’re thankful for direct-port nitrous injection, four-core intercoolers, ball-bearing turbos and titanium valve springs. And of course, family. Here’s hoping you can enjoy yours this week.

This is excellent! Nice work!

*Alfa Romeo based Cherokee ;)

Imagine something similar to the current model, but with uConnect 8.4 finally.

My prediction:

+1 to you for not allowing a hint of sarcasm. I’d have asked if the driver had recently suffered a head injury or stroke.

So what? What’s your problem with rednecks anyways? They do a lot of jobs that the rest of us think we’re too good for and they’re not afraid to get their hands dirty. I really respect that. The amount of people who bash on those who live blue collar lifestyles is appalling.

That was a pretty darn civil way of handling it. Gold star for you! (No, seriously, that was a smart move that resolved the issue in a civil way).

We also did this to a guy in a work van. He was blocking the left lane so we called the number on his door & he answered. We told him to stop blocking the left lane. LOL

BEST SINCE CARSON!?! What planet do you live on?

I got my wife a G550 recently and it fucking rules. It is also probably the worst modern (or faux-modern in this case) production vehicle ever, at least in terms of stopping and turning. That said, who cares, it’s a fucking G wagen and it never stops being awesome even while it’s drinking gas for hobby and wallowing

I suppose the thing that makes it truly monstrous by comparison is just the width and height. To indulge peoples fantasies of being rugged, off road types, wider axles have been fitted, along with wheel flares. Take it down to the width of the body itself and it’s closer to original. Overall size, however, has grown.

There are differences, but there are a lot of common elements. Both places have more diversity than they usually get credit for. Texas isn’t all like East Texas, and Australia isn’t all like the Outback. Both places have a lot of great people.
Wikipedia has great articles on Texas History and on the Republic of Texas.
