I’ve been waiting for something F&F related to post this!

I wouldn’t even bother with that Park button. For future Mercs, either open the door or simply turn off the car with the start/stop button and it will go into park and the parking brake will engage itself.

The Infinit M30 convertible comes to mind!

I can only imagine how much cowl shake this thing exhibits while going over railroad crossings.

The lack of a drive system for the rear wheels pretty much negates any Jeep trolling this thing will do. A Subaru on the other hand is a different story.

Who doesn’t love the G Wagen?

Well if she’s in Austin then I have nothing :( .

Welcome to North Texas! If you get a chance, try Meat U Anywhere in Trophy Club for the brisket and Hard 8 in Roanoke for some pit style BBQ in the area. (I’m local)

Oh ok. Didn’t realize you had one of the older models.

Put into consideration that the next body on frame solid axle four door on the market starts at $110K (Merc G550), it’s a bargain starting at less than half the price.

Now playing

You’ve got to give it more credit than that. You just didn’t go to the right places...

I do know that the crawling abilities of the 200-series is legendary:

Um, they messed with an icon by removing the solid front axle. Farewell Gelandewagen!

They will have to redesign the entire front end again and it would be similar to the E class wagon 4x4 squared. I’m guessing MB went to a rack and pinion setup vs the old pitman arm steering.

Farewell front solid axle! That leaves the Wrangler as the last Ute left in the US with solid front axles.

The resurgence of the turbo 4-cylinder makes me giddy. Type R, Honda Accord, and Jeep Wrangler to name a few. It’s amusing that the turbo four on the Wrangler is the upgrade engine.

I see Toretto and team are still at it...

The old school door catches are still in place. This is very promising. That means that this is another retrofit to the old chassis.
