Yeah, it seemed forced. I can only hope there is more substance to the story. (I haven't read the follow-up to Kick-Ass, so I am unspoiled for the film besides what the trailer showed). Otherwise, a vulgar-mouthed teenager is going to get stale.

I hope they improve the CGI of Mindy/Hit Girl atop the speeding van. The action looks impressive, but I couldn't help but think of TJ Hooker blue screen.
Wonder, though, if an older Chloƫ Grace Moretz saying things like "cocksuckers" and "tampon" will have the punch that "c*nts" did in the first film.
