Good point. I hereby amend my statement to specify that I think he promised to deliver the time of reform that people wanted (if any) and is now backtracking on that promise because he doesn't prefer the result. I skipped way too many mental steps in writing that.

If you can think of anything scarier than a non-binding motion to appoint an exploratory task force, then I'd like to hear it!

I remember Rae days from my childhood and how pissed people were. Then we had that period with Harris about which basically nothing good can be said. Now Rae's a Liberal and I have no idea how to parse that in terms of figuring out who knows what they're doing financially.

I said in another comment that he's Canada's PR guy. He's good at the role. We needed more than that.

As an NDP voter, I thought of Mulcair as a principled veteran that had exactly 0% chance of attracting votes by his personality. It sucks, but what can you do?

I've been thinking that I kind of like him as a leader and kind of hate him as a policymaker, if that makes sense. I'm against him because of his party's lies about proportional representation, but I think he's been doing a good job at getting out in front of scandals and tragedies and so forth. He didn't waste time

Didn't know that! Thanks for the tip.

he was so bad at giving head

As a bi guy, I like the look of smaller penises better than that of larger ones. They're usually more beautiful to me. In terms of satisfaction, I've never found a consensus beyond the idea that there's a range of good sizes that's different for every orifice. A friend of mine told me that her most satisfying male

Is that sparkling tea kombucha? I just tried that for the first time recently. It seemed like a great substitute for beer, if you want something with that brewed taste.

That checks out when I think of the one friend I have who works in a university lab, actually. I haven't met his bosses, but one of them generated stories of such a character that I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this stereotype in him if we met.

No argument here. TV started to come off like commedia dell'arte to me a while ago. I try not to criticize it much, as I don't much watch it anymore, but it seems like a hermetically-sealed world to me sometimes. It would make sense if writers' rooms tended to consist mostly of people whose life experience is

I'm trying to think of whether or not I've ever had a boss that fit the bill. I had a manager who was fired for harassment once, but that's about as close as it comes.

I want him to make a huge epic about the 1921 Tulsa race riot. That's a hell of a story and he's the kind of director with the vision to do it.

The bear has to be Russia anyway, right? That's been a thing since, like, Chekov.

I think they used emetics to force vomiting? Not sure about that.

Is this an Avocado thing? I haven't been there for quite a while now, but I got the impression that some of those comment threads are intense as hell. Anyway, I appreciate your comments and I don't know why someone wouldn't, so I hope you still feel welcome around these parts.

Or fight! It's not like there aren't shitloads of actors out there with martial arts training on their resume. If they had cast an awesome fighter, how many people would care about the race of the actor? The casting would obviously have been merited.

The "listening to music" part didn't seem like an overwhelming part of the trailer. The trailer makes it seem like a simple-plot-executed-stylishly sort of movie. The car action looked good to me, for what it's worth, so that's hopefully a sign that the fundamentals are sound.

I can see that, but I had thought that would just be part of the standard operating costs of the festivals. I don't like the idea of a big festival with advertisements and sponsorships (to the point of having sponsored stages) sloughing off a responsibility like that to save money. Live shows are one of the last
