I actually have a sex question this week for anyone who'd like to help out. My girlfriend's finally getting home next week after a month out of country and we have some catching up to do. In specific, I'm going to have some catching to do, as we've been planning to ramp up the anal play.

1. Don't mention the weight loss. Never start a conversation by talking about someone's body. People put their interests on their profile for several reasons, and one of them is that you might share them. If there wasn't anything else on there that interested you enough to talk about it, you just might not be that

What can be said about eel that hasn't been said about Afghanistan?

Now I can't wait to check it out. Thanks.

Ha ha, FATAL. Whyyyyy did you even set yourself up for that? Is it a death wish? It's a death wish, isn't it?

1. It's a pretty well-worn trope at this point. That doesn't disqualify it for effective use, but it does mean that it's harder to make something really special with it, as people will compare any new use to other uses.
2. It might not have the same resonance for people who aren't inclined to look for a messiah. I

You just got my interest. Is it the underpeople angle, or is it to do with the whole interplanetary dynastic idea?

Yeah, pop music has had virtually irrelevant lyrics for pretty much the entire time it's been around. Some lyrics are great, some terrible, most in between, and all of them pretty unimportant to whether or not the song is a hit. You just need a good phrase for the chorus/title and the rest could be a casserole

There was Hector and Mando,
young Eddy G.
Chavo meant the most to me

Good catch. You could see the Shaggs as progenitors of that sort of kitchen-sink-thoughts style of songwriting.

I found out that some indie musicians talked Dot Wiggin into performing and releasing music over the last few years. There's a video where the Dot Wiggin Band is trying to accurately play My Pal Foot Foot and finding it comically difficult to stay on whatever rhythm that song uses. The effect of that intro, with the

The lead Shagg, Dot Wiggins, has been performing and releasing a bit of music here and there over the last few years. I went on a YouTube kick and listened to some of it. She apparently had to be talked into it, due to being a private person by nature, but she's also apparently having a lot of fun doing it. Her

Good point. Purdom usually writes GJI, so I confused myself.

Forget all about equality!

I think I finally understand GJI. The writers are actual true believers in the value of social media and meme culture. The occasional disapprobation is just ironic distance from something they love for real. How else could you get such a well-researched article out of such an inconsequential topic?

I should clarify. I don't mean that it's a myth that artists can be difficult; rather, there are myths that artists have to be difficult , that being difficult goes hand-in-hand with making superior art, or that good art can justify being difficult. I'm in music and I can tell you that personality definitely counts

You could set your rhythms to Nick yelling!

Less time than you might think, if you find the right therapist and therapy for you (and if therapy applies to your situation). I've been going on a light schedule for a couple of years and my progress has made my past self seem almost unrecognizable at times. I know it seems daunting, but it's all pretty much one

The myth of the difficult artist is strong. Apparently, it's strong enough to buoy the image of a grown man who wrote whatever that utter fucking gibberish about drinking at a club is supposed to be.

Comments like this make me imagine you sitting in front of a bank of 60 TVs like Adrian Veidt, each one tuned to a different network or basic cable channel.
