I think TFA did what it needed to do, which is establish good will among fans that Disney can actually make Star Wars movie while getting you invested in the new cast.

Same here. I recently rewatched them with Rifftax in preparation for TFA, and I was surprised at how "watchable" TPM was. Don't get me wrong- it's still bad. But it at least it looked and felt like an actual movie, unlike the other two. AotC in particular was completely unwatchable (even w/ Rifftrax) and unsalvageable.

I agree. Even though it's the most reviled one on the internet, I actually think it's the least bad one. Don't get me wrong- I still think it's a bad movie. I wholeheartedly agree. I don't think he's a bad actor by any means, but I really don't think he's nearly as great as everyone makes him out to be, nor do I think it's some huge loss that he hasn't won an Oscar. He can turn in a good performance, but I agree that he doesn't have that much of a range as an actor.

Agreed. Jeremy Sumpter is ridiculously charming as Peter.
