My folks bought a black on black 1978 Cutlass Calais Coupe. It had a black vinyl landau top. At age 4, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. It really was a good looking car and I don’t remember it ever having any problems. Then they traded it in for a 1982 Buick Riviera. What a POS.

Sure, let’s punish people who are doing their best to have a reliable car to get to work. $7,000 does not buy you a luxurious car nowadays. It might buy you a car that won’t break down every month and that’s about it. 

I still mourn the loss of my 2003 GLI with the VR6. It was fun and reliable for 8 years until I ran it off the side of an exit.

Right. They should keep it in the passenger seat for easy access.
