1) I love that Byron Saxton interviewing the jobbers before their imminent demise is still a thing. I hope they keep it up, it's darkly amusing.

It's a possibility, though I get the feeling IW1 will be Thanos getting all the stones and killing a whole bunch of people. IW2 will be the aftermath/comeback fight. If it's anything like the comic storyline, anyway.

Hela the goddess of Death and ruler of Hel is a villain in Thor: Ragnarok. She'd be the easy bet based on that job description alone, but they could always bait 'n switch.

I'd be incredibly surprised if it didn't.
Also fingers crossed we get to glimpse Dormammu, just for funsies.

Saying they've hit the same beats is underselling it just a bit.

Oh yeah, for sure. We're still at least 5 more films away from Infinity War though: Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther… I think Thor: Ragnarok will probably shed a lot of light on that storyline as Thor has tied himself to that particular plot.

I'M GOING TO NEED A FEW BOTTLES OF WATER

No, no, just death please.

Okay we get it, send in your resume already.

AYYYYYYYY WE WANT SOME KANTEYYY

If he did something of note he'd detract from most of the individual films. It would make Avengers 1 more about him than Loki, or Guardians more about him than Nebula/Ronan, etc etc. It simply hasn't been his time to do anything "of note" other than quietly pull strings.

Again, to say he's been set up for "five films" is a disingenuous statement for a character sighted in cameos, never a core part of any plot and with secondary-tertiary relations to any character at best.
The aim as I see it has been to show he's related to the goings on and that he seems to be setting a lot of the

He's not really a key focus at this point, I don't think we're really meant to care about him so much rather than acknowledge he's in the background. Which is how it should be, as if he were too much of a presence it'd detract more from the individual stories of each film.

Saying they've been setting it up for "five films" is a bit of a disingenuous statement considering most have been incredibly slight and incremental nods.

Boy I do so love awkward studio insertions into a film itself rather than those unobtrusive post-credit scenes!
Oh wait, that's the joke isn't it

I think it's insanely premature to cast aspersions on a storyline that's barely come to pass. The definition of seeding something is planting very small signs that will eventually bear fruit, and it's pretty clear we're not at that fruity stage, no? They've done exactly what they needed to: a) establish a series of

It's interesting "so many people" can make so much of a deal out of a series of cameos that bear very little on the likable, popular movies individually.

Unless you've been given a reason to doubt, patience is a virtue~

Craig Robinson has been such a great surprise. I don't know what I expected when I saw that he'd be part of the show but he's hitting it out of the park.

The direction this week was a standout for me. There's a story to almost every shot, just one of the things that elevates this show over so many others.
