I read the article and honestly it just feels like a lot of hand-wringing over an easy target.
Comic book films are easy to lump together, but dominating film franchises have obviously existed before now. The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Star Wars prequels, and so on.

Yeah I saw that article, but like I told someone else, Black Panther didn’t stop me from seeing Three Billboards - which were both out within weeks of each other here. While there may be something to the article in studios avoiding competing against the big comic book blockbuster, why are they specified? What about

Yeah I’m sure it’ll happen some day, but pre-emptively sounding the death knell ad nauseam does nothing but inspire tediousness. Let it be a talking point when it’s, y’know, actually happening.

Incorrect

Hi, Pan’s Labyrinth and The Devil’s Backbone are A+ movies

It’s funny this article spends it’s opening two paragraphs talking about Stan Lee cameos

<spoiler> because he doesn’t have one in this film. </spoiler>

This has been really heartwarming to see.

I dearly hope this is the most stealthiest of sarcasm, because I’ve already seen fanboy pinheads on Twitter bring in their console-war pissing contests on the official tweets relating to this product. True understanding of the internet is knowing that if you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile.
So it’s for the best

Kevin is just the worst. The obvious sin is that he’s written so thinly - for the most part his character is driven by being “the gay teen” who calls his dad hot and that’s it. But worse than that is how his character has either just flip-flopped or been slotted into any available space all season, which has had (what

Judging by The Last Jedi, fans love those! clap clap

All I know is that Black Panther didn’t make it impossible for me to see Three Billboards.

While they undoubtedly get more screens - like any other major blockbuster no matter the genre - to act like there’s no other sessions available for any other film screening at the same period seems like an exaggeration.

Sure, and your ability to Matrix-dodge obvious sarcasm and misspell simple words won’t be lighting up an X-Men sequel any time soon.

no

Alas, I have never once considered the plight of representation for normal people

Yeah, I think part of the “problem”is that Star Wars films don’t feel as special as they used to, now that they’re something we’re given with increased regularity - which I can’t help but feel is such a first world problem for us to have, growing up with so much less. A double edged sword, and yet Marvel Studios can

This is your mutant power

Maybe. I think the more savvy among us know to temper our expectations to offerings from Sony or the DCEU - then again I’m not as hyped for Solo as I would have been at one point. Are Star Wars films becoming too saturated or am I just being sensible with my expectations? If you’re correct though, it’s as it should

One might say it’s a....................... great... responsibility...,,,

okay bye
