Yeah, there’ll be more content - those expansions don’t come for free though. Events are nice, true, though this event involves doing things like going into lost sectors and doing things we’ve largely already been doing - just for new loot this time. Iron Banner will be interesting. Other than that, no idea what’s on

Which is why I thought it was weird in destiny 1 that Bungie built a game which required people to group up, but had no in game features to facilitate such. They’re making good moves to make everything more accessible for the solo gamer right now though, credit where it’s due.

Not many post-campaign quests/adventures left, and like I said, even 25 is being generous.
Also you can multiply the content by X amount of characters, but I’m talking about fresh single player content you see without needing to replay. Sure, the gameplay is slightly different when you play a different class, but it’s

LOL flagged for being a passive aggressive douche, see ya never <3

Oh it is fun, while it lasts. The game is technically sound, great gameplay. But by yourself it eventually gets monotonous, I’ve found. It’s just not a comprehensive solo experience, not with the end game content all requiring you to form your own crews.

Counterpoint, because everyone is now saying counterpoint: 50 hour is extremely generous. I’ve played under half of that and am light 260, where the most potent ways of leveling up is Nightfall and the raid itself. I still have some post-campaign quests and adventures to clear off, but the solo experience is for the

Yeah the game has been out, what, just two weeks? Enjoy the honeymoon period by all means, see how long it lasts. You’re welcome sweetie <3

Counterpoint: what you mean to say is that you only need to go looking for people for all of the highest level content that gives all the best gear: Trials, Raids, Prison of Elders. If you’re a solo player, you don’t get any of the best stuff.
At least in Destiny 2 you may get a taste of it, if you join a huge clan.

I never said it wasn’t fun to play solo, as a lot of D1 was me playing Crucible all by my lonesome. But that’s not the full experience of the game, really. And without friends, you miss out on much of the high level content. I wouldn’t recommend someone buy Destiny just to pvp all day.

The raid aspects of Destiny and this game is depressing. Trying to get 5 other people you personally know on the same game at the same time for 4 hours is like herding cats. And finding dependable people through LFG is the crappiest crapshoot, especially if you’re new to the activity - because all they want is

Counterpoint: The fun of Destiny and Destiny 2 is multiplied by the amount of dependable people you know playing it. I wouldn’t advise anyone to play these games solo.

It was fun, but I dunno if it’s an “A” for me. Seems to be a theme with this season - the reactions I see here just feel a bit disproportionate to the actual quality of the episodes, but subjectivity and all that.

The way things are going, the Academy Awards are just going to screen an episode of Twin Peaks for their next In Memoriam clip

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not and IT’S TEARING ME APART, LISA.

It makes you racist or ignorant of the power/history/meaning of the word, neither of which are good things.

And black people can say the word for reasons I really shouldn’t need to go into.

How do you go from an ignorant Euro white guy using the most offensive derogatory slur you can use against black people, a word specifically designed to dehumanise and denigrate people of their skin colour, to that?

Last I checked they can both be terrible things.

Some people seem to be pegging this as like, the zenith, high-end, cerebral be-all with the most shocking twist ever and chill inducing visuals... I mean, I enjoyed the episode plenty but I think that’s going a bit too far.

I do appreciate the craft involved in weaving the parallel plotlines (reminiscent of The

That ‘some kid’ has millions of followers, many of them pretty young, and is normalizing racism intentionally or not under the guise of “it’s just jokes guys!” and being generally ignorant regarding jews, nazis, blacks, and what it’s like to face actual prejudice.

Loving the Pewd defense force on twitter: “look just because he said a racist word doesn’t mean he’s racist! It’s just a word anyway, quit giving it power! if you think it’s bad you must hate free speech, you first amendment hating fascist! I mean black people can say it?”

it’s just a coincidence they all happen to be
