@Chron4no: Why are you under the impression that any athlete gets a full ride? Most athletes have scholarships that are divided up amongst the team which ultimately on pay for about 1/3 of tuition at best. However, if you're on the basketball team, and you're the starting guard, you're getting as much money as

@Ubersoldat19: Uh yeah. This happens all the time in many industries and people don't bitch about it. If I showed up in training videos for my job, then I quit or got fired, who am I to bitch for more money because they're still using them or my "likeness"? Comparing a college institution to a professional job or

@Chron4no: What's the point of college then? If they're gonna get paid, why not just make them pros? The NCAA is a tryout for players like Ed. They put in their pro-bono work to get recognition and have their shot at the NBA. Oh and UCLA (a great school btw) gave him a full scholarship and I'd bet blue chips on

@TheFaze: I go to UCLA and I think he doesn't deserve shit. UCLA gave him the opportunity to play in the NBA, a full scholarship, and I bet he got blue chips like most high prospects. UCLA fulfilled their end of the bargain.

@Chron4no: Players like O'Bannon get a full scholarship with excellent one-on-one tutoring (practically a free degree) and a chance at the NBA. UCLA gave him enough. He doesn't deserve shit just because he was a bust.

@chrollo0427: Ed O'Bannon had full ride. UCLA's basketball program and much of their football program are highly funded, they award full scholarships to most players, especially someone as good as O'Bannon once was. It's other sports like water polo and volleyball that get hit harder by scholarships.

@chardish: He's not a millionaire athlete. He's an NBA washout that flopped hard after being great at UCLA.

@paganski: He knows that. However Ed O'Bannon was a beast at UCLA and was the main player to led them to a national title. He was drafted in the 1st round and sucked instantly. Most NCAA players don't expect to make it to the NBA and be a good pro player.

Ed O'Bannon is just pissed he was garbage when he went to the NBA. UCLA did so much for you. Stop crying for more.

Did you guys not see the big "UPDATE" on Giz? It says 1080p not coming this year. Pretty much negates most of your article.

@Jon: Oh, and I'm long passed the 'jackass' comment earlier. He probably is one considering his comment. :)

@Jon: I didn't mean to imply you personally were unsatisfied with the way your games look, but many people in this comment section in general with SDTVs. What I'm trying to say is, when I had an SDTV that I played 360/PS3 games a couple years back, if I had a problem like this where I couldn't read the text properly,

@The Anti-Fanboy: Ah, the old "You can afford it so it must have been paid for by your parents" argument. Good arguing.

@Jon: I understand your point, and I agree that the guy was wrong. He was presumptuous and shouldn't think everyone in America can afford an HDTV. However, calling him a jackass and getting bent outta shape doesn't help either. I don't care for people name-calling on here, which is why I said that back to you with

@Nathan Lambes: Then don't complain about small text in a video game. You know your TVs limitations and should expect such issues with an SDTV. This is an HD game, not a PS2 game.

@The Anti-Fanboy: If that's all they have then they should understand that they're not getting the full experience. If you wanna play HD games on an SDTV, fine, but don't bitch about why you can't read the text well, etc. If you can't afford it and you want it to look good, then you shouldn't be wasting your money
