Based on what I see, the laws of physics, momentum, conservation of energy, etc. still hold. I think the main misperception is that everyone assumes that the wind is pushing the vehicle. It isn’t, so going faster than the wind speed isn’t a “breaking of the law of physics”. This is not to diminish their accomplishment…
