Is that sarcasm? Most of us love Star Wars despite the iffy writing, not because if it.

The North doesn’t need google, the OP does, sorry that wasn’t clear.
Google Aske’s rebellion, the North remembers.
Really, all I took from that clip is that men don’t know dick about dick.
I want you to go to Wikipedia and just erase everything and replace it with: dear god it’s hard work for very little reward. That’s all anyone ever needs to know about Mallick.
Agreed, the White Queen was better than Tudors, though lacking Henry Caville. The War of the Roses is fascinating.
Do they? I though Capaldi had the only repeat.
Olivia has already been in Dr Who, she was one of the faces of Prisoner Zero in Eleventh Hour, Smith’s debut episode.
I loved that line from Abe. He so often talks without saying anything germaine to anyone but himself, but that was so on point about Midge needing to use her voice carefully. It’s a lesson we all need to remember from time to time.
Boy, that was hard. Re: Midge’s Apollo set. Ok, I don’t think she was trying to out him. I think she was just a bull in a china closet, thinking she was dancing up to the line, not realizing she was trampling all over it. I’m not defending her, she deserved to get fired. You don’t do jokes like that about someone…
It’s the physicality that Luke is bringing that’s really selling it. The accent is icing. Lenny Bruce was not a normal cat. I really like that he’s leaning so hard into his idiosyncrasies.
The writers could go full Tarantino and revise history. I wouldn’t be mad.
ETA, god, I’m old, I can’t get the giphy to embed. Sorry young’uns.
On the actors’ chemistry: Rachel’s IRL husband Jason Ralph is a very handsome man, but if I were him, after the rhumba’d Til There Was You, I’d be saying, “Oooookay, that’s enough of that.”
I thought the show was still in the early 60’s, but maybe I missed something. It does tend to play fast and loose with the time line. I really hope it’s not the actors last run in the suit, but if it is, he left it in a fantastic way.
Sigh.... I wrote about a paragraph about this exact scenario at the end of last season. You are absolutely correct, it makes no sense for midge/Lenny to happen at this point in her story. But, (oh god that butt), I was really hoping maybe they’d just get it out of the way and then have it be weird the rest of this…
Ok, I cannot wait for the next recap. Hurry the hell up, Arielle. I need to figure out how to post that giphy of Blanche Devareaux furiously fanning herself.
That’s a scene from the middle of the second movie. Half of the jokes are call backs from something earlier in the movie.
