Yeah, Nichols was fine, it's not really a slam against him per se.
"…the world is full of mad people who function, many of whom are heads of state."
What i noticed was that she was self-conscious that she was the only single mom there, and everyone else brought partners. It lead me to wonder why she didn't bring a friend/family with her.
Or when they were laughing and showing each other their phones, barely paying attention while everyone was dancing their hearts out. Just ugh.
I think he was making a futile attempt to sound like he had "sophisticated" friends, for Dill's benefit.
As much as Marnie is to blame for her own situation, I felt a lot of anxiety about her situation in an academic sort of way. If Desi really has just sort of disappeared, that's got to suck for anyone legally attached to him, and Marni is both his wife (they are not divorced yet, right?) and his business partner. …
He's definitely involved less too, than in past years. Although I'd agree Mamet's appearances have been much more fleeting.
Or Mamet is involved in two movies at the moment, and is very busy.
I was wondering that too about the musical. I half-ass googled it but didn't find anything real.
THEY STUFFED IT!!
I'm getting increasingly giddy as May approaches.
That's overly complimentary. Pretty sure John Wick washes his hair.
I'd forgotten all about that. I probably blocked it out.
When Chase was talking about the Bratva tattoo I was wondering what he was holding. I thought: Is that a mini sandpaper machine? Is that actually a thing? That's going to hurt!
I don't know which commenter here brought up Josh Segarra's resemblance to Christian Bale last week, but now it is totally distracting me! CANNOT UNSEE.
I'm pretty sure Melanie was cluing him in: telling him what the situation was and what he could do to help in the hospital hallucination. Soon after, we see a shot of him in the hallucination and his face changes ever so slightly to indicate he wasn't catatonic anymore - I think he closes his mouth or something.
I liked the part where Apocalypse gave makeovers to all his new teammates.
Or maybe tape? Either way, it's probably uncomfortable.
I somehow missed the detail that the gravel was hot. Thank you for those new nightmares.
