I mean, I get that she trusts Thea and wasn't fully in on the plan. But I also think she could have done a little more digging to find out what she was participating in. Her explanation sounded a little too much like "I was just following orders" to me.
It was a good fake out. Even having Vigilante appear when he did, going after Ollie but not hurting him (just enough to buy Ollie some time with the impeachment hearing), then really obviously going after the stray visor piece. It even seemed like Vigilante had a similar voice to Chase, just modulated a bit.
I actually thought Ollie was going to fire Thea by the end of the episode "for her own good", so her leaving on her own was better. But I had the same feeling, I looked to see if she has an upcoming new show and doesn't, but I forgot to check on movies.
I think Lenny in the institution was real. Syd and Ptonomy discussed Syd embedding her in the wall tonight too, and recognized her as the same person they saw in David's memories, so there's a frame of reference for her outside of David's POV.
I was surprised it was him. He was really channeling Dr. Sanchez from Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. I mean I knew it wasn't Matt Berry, but the voice was eerily similar.
And thank you too. Glad to know I wasn't the only one not quite getting it.
Thank you. That makes much more sense now.
I was leaning toward it being modern day but viewed through Hawley's 70's aesthetic. Just spitballing though.
Like Hitler and Frank had a baby.
I really loved the change of POV to Syd for as long as it lasted.
I'm embarrassed admit to not fully understanding Kerry's explanation. It sounds like she was born first, then he manifested in some way. I listened twice and still don't get it.
Honestly, it was a casual question for both. I've seen most but not all of S1 & S2, and I fell out of regular DC comics around the time New 52 kicked in, so it's entirely possible I missed a tv episode or comic arc that features an evil Barry.
Sincerely, no. I almost never make fun of other commenters. At most, I've challenged the odd troll here or there, but even that is a rare indulgence.
I had to look that one up. That's New 52, right? Definitely no.
Maybe it's future Solovar in the Savitar suit.
This is the first I've seen Lonsdale, I think. I've never thought he was doing a bad job in the role per se, I just didn't really get or like the character that much.
I just would enjoy CGI apes in Flash, Arrow, Supergirl et al. outfits.
He is getting better. I wasn't really on board with him becoming speedster at first, largely just because I didn't like the way they were writing the character. I don't know if the writing for him is getting slightly better, or Lonsdale is settling into the role - probably the latter.
Fingers crossed that Evil Barry is in the Savitar suit then.
