Exactly. The fact that the kiss followed blackmail in the form of "help me or I'll reveal the incest to your husband and the town" is what grossed me out.

I think Oabama is the leader of the Green Lantern Corps.
That was like the one time that I unambiguously did not get any sort of incestuous vibe between Norman and Norma. It seemed to me two powerless people being traumatized, and comforting each other in that moment, in the only way they could.
Grade: A DOUBLE PLUS GOOD.
That or to save Kim's career, or something similar, or both.
I can see how it can be read both ways, but honestly that is giving Chuck WAY too much benefit of the doubt. He was obviously hurt that his mom was wanting Jimmy in her final moments, and was just being petty.
That tape scene was obvious but still very infuriating.
Gabe not calling in his location annoyed me very much. Even if he wanted to make sure he had something solid before sharing, he would still call in the visit to the station: interviewing possible witness at 123 Street Avenue, etc. He thought he was paying a visit to the wife/girlfriend of a child…
Thanks, but I was actually aware of the Breaking Bad connection and have seen every episode of that show :)
I just thought it was because he clearly wanted Henry to go away.
Definitely. I remember reading some stuff about Iran-Contra and Reagan being criticized for a lot of "I don't know" and "I don't remember" and possibly playing into that public perception, intentionally. And then later after the diagnosis became public knowledge, that changing to "oh, okay - maybe he really didn't?"
Yeah, some of his stereotypical rambling and lost trains of thought that comedians used to joke were likely some signs of early dementia, in retrospect.
I've heard of that too, I didn't realize Reagan had that. I just go to HBP as a ton of older people have it in my family - red face goes with "forgot my pill" or "ate way too much salt", or so I'm told.
I was thinking that too, right before she said it. I was wondering if it was blusher or if he had high blood pressure and forgot to take his pill.
With apologies in advance for the Simpson's reference: there's that episode where Bart plays back a videotape and pinpoints the exact moment that Lisa breaks Ralph Wiggum's heart.
Okay, thanks. I wasn't quite sure if we were supposed to be remembering a specific incident. The, "yeah that was a shark, hardy har har " thing just felt like such a deflection.
That one scar when he started talking about the shark - do we know where that is from? Did he kill someone to get that? I don't remember.
Interesting getting Chick and Norma to team up to find Caleb. Gotta say, Chick is pretty much dead to me now after he threatened Norma and made her cry.
The best part was things going down in a Chuck gaslight. That and Chuck telling the bankers THEY had the address wrong. Ha ha, NO.
I agree, I think the kidnapper is his either his older brother or uncle. There's no paper trail of custody for whatever reason, and people think Ben died with his parents.
