I could go for a mini-series of say 4-6 episodes. Or a series of 3-4 movies. Anything else would be too dark, depressing and murdery.

Although perhaps telegraphed and expected, I totally laughed out loud when he just drank the tea he kept insisting Matt had to make. And Matt just ignoring that and being "yeah, sounds about right", and turning his attention to Elektra.
This is so true, even though I'm not sure they've had a scene together I can totally see this in my head. But on the other hand, I think Rosario is so fantastic that she has strong chemistry with almost anyone: men, women, it's all amazing. Claire/Matt and Claire/Luke and Claire/Jessica also have tons of chemistry.
I thought the natural physical chemistry between Jon and Deborah was was insane. They should work together on another project if this show is not going to take advantage of that. I spent the whole time they were together wondering if the characters were going to sleep together despite everyone's better judgment.
I have mixed feelings about Elektra, I like the actress and the character but feel like the relationship/betrayal stuff was rushed and felt superficial, just not earned.
Classic team-ups aside, I'm a little scared to see the new Spider-Man. I'm a little gun shy after so many reboots and shitty movies. Still looking forward to Civil War, but yeah.
I loved Frank's reaction when Lawyer Matt says, "Frank. . . May I call you Frank?'
In further defense of Clancy Brown's casting, I appreciated that Frank Castle's character witness was Lex Luthor in another life.
Is that the scene where Matt and Elektra meet, or another? Because I can hear music on mine: jaunty jazzy music. I wonder if I have a concussion now.
I think the vanilla of Matt/Karen is intentionally false, they are both falling for romanticized versions of each other and each is much darker of a person than what they choose to see in one another and/or are letting each other see. It is like both Karen and Matt are both trying to recapture some innocence by…
ONE BATCH, TWO BATCH, PENNY AND DIME,
HIS KID IS DEAD, SO HE KILLS THE CRIME
Or possibly Love's Baby Soft, for the ladies.
Or maybe someone will spike the cologne with some Glanders or perhaps another less communicable disease - shades of the 1982 tylenol murders
I thought that was a workman's glove - as in, one of the construction guys that dug the pit.
Sooooooo…Emma's mom - thoughts? Where's the body?
I've decided that I like the flashbacks, but I think they should use them more sparingly. As in, we already know that movie was entertaining, how's about you make THIS show entertaining and stop relying on the flashbacks to tell your story.
"Where are the grocery bags?"
I think she was also the possible Messiah/possible Antichrist character on The 4400, if memory serves.
I was going to on demand this later in the week but decided to watch again.
For sure, there's definitely at least one way out that would keep the movie technically intact. I'm just not sure that it's "fair" to the larger narrative - especially the first film - to play that particular card. It would be seen as a cheat, fairly I think.
