I'm mildly curious about the announced changes for season 2 and how they will pull that off, but then again, maybe no.
Yes, I'm pretty sure that is what I just said. I'm glad we agree.
For sure, but that's not what I'm talking about. Harker is Mina's second betrothed. Mina had a different fiance first. One who slept with Vanessa and that caused them to break up, and Vanessa to lose Mina's friendship. It was after that Vanessa succumbed to possession, darker temptations, Amunet/Amun Ra stuff, etc.
I know the main point of the scene was to underscore the unfulfilled love between Vanessa and Ethan, but I also found it really interesting that she mentions Mina and Jonathan will be visiting, and not Mina's original fiance, whatshisname.
I know it would probably be too close to LXG, and possibly too obvious, but Jekyll/Hyde might be fun. Since they seem to be building two diametrically opposed monster teams, it might be fun to have the guy with the split personality on both sides without actively knowing it.
I think I'd like that. I wonder if our team eventually reassembles specifically to put a stop to Brona's team.
Yeah, as it turns out, she really could handle things herself. Everyone else was just collateral risk.
Loved this episode, but I had to stew on it a minute. I wasn't sure how to feel about the Satan doll but in the end I think it worked in a fun kind of underwhelming way. Like Dorian's portrait (which I was actually okay with), the true face of the devil might end up being a disappointment that can't live up to…
He really underestimated himself. That heartbreaker would have had WAY more than ten friends.
lowest domed dedumbinator
I'm pretty sure the phrase "lowest common denominator" has a role to play in that lesson.
Truth in advertising.
My thought was silicon make-up, soft-lens focus a la Star Trek (original recipe) and maybe CG.
Me too. I lazily wondered if he was related to Zahn but not enough to actually Google it to get the answer.
Super Duper!
As long as she and Frankenstein don't try a "Puttin' on the Ritz" duet, I think we're good.
Brona didn't speak or share any cool stories, so it is safe to watch this week. Maybe she'll say something next week
Plus, he and Malcolm apparently bonded in Africa and decided to have each other's back from then on out. Would be great to get more than the couple-sentence explanation we got in S1. The seeds of a great back story are there.
I was pretty sure that's who they were going to reveal her to be; they still might I guess. I know the popular lore has her as a vamp and not a witch, but that could be fun.
