I wouldn't mind some answers at some point, but like you I'm really nowhere near itching for them yet, at all. And I agree that with eight episodes, we might not get the full palette of answers this season. I'd rather they tell the story on their own terms rather than just spewing answers. And on the flip side of

Given the confluence of events of Nick Cage playing the Rayford, character, that was some prescient label-making.

No, the sled belonged to Kaiser Soze, back when he was in that barbershop quartet in Skokie, Illinois.

Except Murphy would have him wearing sunglasses, and carrying a guitar and skateboard.

I think the Mummy might be related to the Egyptian stuff?

And HOW!

This is actually my fondest wish for Sal.

I felt the same way mostly: it was great for Morse, but given Bert had been such a prick to Don lately, it felt off to me. Although I can buy Don's realization that this quirky, odd man is no longer around.

Although it would be fun to watch Lou make constipation faces at having to take orders from Don.

I don't think they hate the audience so much as they know they have nothing as strong or entertaining in the cue, so they are forcing us to stay as long as possible. Like a person who tries to manipulate their lover/spouse from leaving - prolonging the inevitable. That and trying to milk the emmys for another year.

I saw it as Victor didn't so much teach Proteus to talk as to help all the synapses to start firing again in a nurturing environment. Proteus was singing by himself and also spontaneously remembering words, so it was all locked away in there somewhere.

Could not possibly agree more.

It's the League of Extraordinary Horror Stories.

Agreed. This could have gone another 15-20 minutes easy and I wouldn't have even gotten itchy or impatient.

I'm a little surprised to see the mild disappointment in this episode. I'm digging the Frankenstein family so this was definitely more of what I wanted. But I do agree that we needed a bit more of the core group storyline too.

I think S2 starts next month, so the timing is definitely right to check it out.

That's a great show too. It's really a good time to be the type of person who probably watches too much TV. Truly, we live in a golden age.

Not a bad deal. You might even get to stop at White Castle on the way.
