I like Eric's idea of the Hannibal thing, re Metatron. Let Armstrong do his schtick, but keep Metatron locked in a cage and NOT running loose. Armstrong is a hoot but Metatron is a disappointing season-sized baddie.

I don't want it either. I just thought "what the stupidest thing that could happen?" and that was what I came up with.
I'm just kind of cringing at the possibility of Dean the demon vs Sam the angel. I'm hoping they don't go that route, but it's been so disappointing how many of the plot points this year (especially the back half) have been predicted in the comments here (and likely elsewhere).
I guess I'd agree with the B. The whole thing felt very low stakes and anti-climactic, like the whole point of the episode was not to get Metatron or solve the crisis du jour, but to get to place where Dean opens his black soul-less eyes. .
I was just going to say the same thing. It's the very definition of predictable. There have been a TON of posts in the comments here over the past 5 episodes or so, predicting exactly this turn of events for Dean.
Excellent point. Maybe he wolfs out, but isn't killing; isn't the unseen creature that's doing all the killing.
I'd like that. Faerie Lights!
I really enjoyed the Peggy/Don scene and the reconciliation in general. But every time Don drinks in the office, I'm immediately nervous that he's going to be caught by Cutler or Joan or Cooper.
For sure. I resented him before because I was annoyed at him being pre-packaged and sold as a heart-throb and I so wasn't buying what they were selling on that front. And his acting has been painful to watch in most things I've seen him in (which to be fair, is not a lot).
Thanks! I was way too lazy to look it up.
I'm not in the states so might be hazy on these facts, but I don't think Hilary ran while Bill still held public office, did she? I think that's where the conflict/favoritism applies.
Hmm. And he *was* planning to head off to Paris too, wasn't he.
For me, it does distract but not overwhelmingly so, & it's not a dealbreaker.
I don't think we really know where we are at in Mina's timeline, so I guess this could be before the whole Harker/Dracula thing, or after.
If you persevere you'll be "rewarded" with their version of the Sinister Six.
Jesus. After watching that clip I'm not sure which is more disappointing: "Music and lyrics by Bono & The Edge" or "Directed by Julie Taymor".
With the heavy-handed way they're suggesting he's involved in the late-night murders (and/or wolfy), I wouldn't be surprised if his secret is something else entirely.
I've always thought that Hartnett is a bit a of knuckle-dragging Cro-Mag, but I've been pleasantly surprised at his acting in this. I haven't cringed once yet, but they're using him pretty sparingly so far.
I thought Finn might also join F/A, but that might be too much. I like the character but I thought that might feel too convenient if all the stray lawyers banded together.
Hot Pie needs to learn the Artie Bucco lesson. Just say "Hi" and leave the people to eat in peace.
