I actually love John Mayer. His music is nostalgic for me, he’s hot (yep I said it), and he’s an amazing musician. I’ve loved him since 2002 and if that Katy Perry duet didn’t stop that love a couple of dancing pandas sure as hell won’t.

And didn’t she get accused of cultural appropriation when she dressed up like a geisha that time?
I mean, ok. I like it. It feels intentionally fun and silly. Fucking sue me.
Ah, fuhgeddaboudit. We like what we like...everything doesn’t t have to be deep, soul searching paradigm destroying lyrics...
Leave Britney ALONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Same...our favorite is problematic.
I hate myself for saying it, but I love John Mayer. I know. I Know. I KNOW! Ugh.
I would never have bothered to watch this if it wasn’t for this article but the dancing pandas were worth it.
Someone in the YouTube comments says the entire video is a nod to some lyrics Katy tweeted about butterflies and Japan. Guess he’s proving that he paid attention?
You’re not a person...you’re a Mom!!!
They are goofy mfers but I can’t help but love their show. I also usually really like Jonathon’s design aesthetic. I suppose I’ve had too much HGTV in my life.
That’s weird because my lily-white self and all of my white friends love this show.
Maybe your white friends just have terrible taste, because my pasty-ass loved it and so has every white friend I recommended it to.
Your mom
I thought their relationship was very natural and realistic, too. Maybe that’s why some folks would think it was boring - because it was grounded and realistic and wasn’t ‘a TV Shenanegans’ relationship. I really loved them as a couple as well.
I like the international house hunting shows and tiny house hunting/building shows, just to see the locations and what spaces people can manage to live with. I know the purchase or rental choice is faked, but it’s still nice to see what options people can get on the beach or in foreign cities.
I thought that the episode of them moving in together and becoming comfortable was the most realistic presentation of a relationship I’ve seen on TV. I really liked watching them as a couple.
Why do we think Rachel was boring?
It’s that 5% Catholic Guilt they put in it for moisturizing.
The operative word there was “almost.” You ALMOST got carried off by a large dog.
