As a woman who was born in 1962, I can tell you that there has never, ever been anything remotely attractive about that man, even by 1970s standards. Gross.

Starred for usage of “bishwhere.”

Ew, no, don’t besmirch Spader’s name like that.

More than one respected Gawker commenter has said this, and I’m like bishwhere.

“He was a good looking guy... and a douche.”

I was 18 when I started dating the 24 year old man who became my husband of 30 years. While I know we have to draw lines to protect young people from predators, and even from themselves, I tend to be more fluid and nuanced about age differences.

James Woods doesn’t think a 24 year old dating a 17 year old is bad. He thinks a 24 year old guy dating a 17 year old guy is bad.

Is this sarcasm? I can’t tell anymore.

I read some article about how British women are pissed with Kate Middleton for having a third kid when it’s unaffordable for most British families to have more than two, and all I could think was “how do we get to a point in this country where affordability only becomes an issue on the THIRD kid?”

This is meant as something of a public rebuke to the halfhearted gestures of Ivanka Trump, who has met with congressional Republicans to discuss paid leave and in February proposed a $500 billion childcare plan that would disproportionately assist wealthy families.

This! And the second the White House says something against this, which you know they will, the dems need to immediately start hammering them with, “I thought you cared about working families.” “Don’t working families matter to you?” “Isn’t this one of Ivanka’s most important intiatives?” “Were you lying when you said

It is about time democrats grew some freaking ovaries and put forth plans and ideas instead of just rolling over and giving up to republicans.

Pretty sure...Ivanka’s counter proposal will be to export childcare to Asia where the wages to childcare providers is considerably lower. How you pick up your kids in Vietnam before 6 is your problem.

Congratulations! (assuming, based on your comment you are giving birth around that time)

when the cost of childcare is more expensive than most people’s rent, you know there is an issue. i think a larger and related issue are companies not letting employees work from home, when they’re able to. if someone was only paying for 2-3 days a week of childcare instead of 5, that would make an enormous

It’s to gain back the snapchat users.

If she thinks it was then it was to her.

When you see Kate Hudson on the cover of a magazine flaunting her “fun, flirty, and fit” figure, you don’t think Christ, what’s she promoting now. You think... Oh look there’s Kate Hudson, doing her job! Wow, what a beautiful day. I’d like to adopt a puppy.

Right - I often feel like I can’t talk about my real life toddler issues with out being judged!

Kate’s C section was for her firstborn; apparently she did a VBAC for her second. But internet moms are really into feeling judged, in my experience. Seems like anytime someone famous talks about their own parenting choices, moms on the internet react like they’re being personally and directly condemned.
