I'd take part in that religion! :P

I know! I actually just dealt with that last night, but it was from a gay guy. I mentioned that I like (ok, LOVE) to be eaten out before sex, and he replied back "Eat your ass?? You are a real pervert. That's gross!". I basically said the same thing you did- that, unless it's not clean, it's not gross. And also that

Oh geez that's crazy. Major hugs. Glad nothing happened to you though, aside from embarrassment and losing those guys for repeat meetups. Also, damn, all that can happen when you mix Adderall and alcohol?! What the hell.

I hope you do enjoy it. I personally really love it and a couple gay male authors I respect and adore wrote blurbs for it as well. I felt like the voice was spot-on and the book is insightful yet adorable.

I got to read an advance copy last month and I absolutely ADORED this book. The emails between Simon and Blue were so fun and heart-warming to read (something I needed after being rejected by a guy I'd been chatting with for 5 months); I could have read a whole book of their emails. I think this is a wonderful book

Damnit you found me out! I hoped no one would realize I changed a few letters in my name to avoid being found. Also, I don't know about worse- maybe on the same level as that other thing I did.

I have pretty good speed with IE whereas with the others, it usually takes a bit longer to load pages. But I don't know; perhaps I'm just so used to IE after all these years that it's just hard to use something else. And I'm probably also one of the few 20-somethings that's not technologically forward- I don't have a

LOL I still use Internet Explorer because I honestly don't like Firefox or Google Chrome. I have both of them on my computer and use them if IE is being weird but for the most part, I don't use them.

Yeah, I was reading that they don't write anything at all for Garth and Kat and the first time they do it together is dress rehearsal, though I imagine it's still different for the live show. And Kristen just tries to follow along with whatever Fred is doing.

I absolutely love this series (as I do all of Maureen's books) and am so excited for this third book to finally be out and to see this review here. So glad to see praise for Maureen's books!

I haven't heard of a lot of these movies, which I guess is good, but I did see two of them- A Million Ways to Die in the West and If I Stay, both of which I really enjoyed. Yes, A Million Ways is typical MacFarlane and some bits were used too often, but I did laugh a lot throughout the movie and it was an enjoyable

I haven't read it yet, but a lot of people really enjoyed her debut, Before I Fall.

I've been wanting to read Inland, as I absolutely loved Amelia Anne. Will have to check it out soon.

I read a few of those Sabrina books, but what I really liked were the Charmed novels. I own about 30 of those, lol. But I'm definitely not a YA snob- been reading and reviewing it for years now. I absolutely love the genre.

Like someone else said, most stand-alone YA is in the realistic fiction genre (Sarah Dessen, Ellen Hopkins, and John Green are good examples). I have seen a lot of duologies released lately though so that may be the new trend (Starters/Enders, Reboot/Rebel, and some others I can't think of right now).
As for publishers

Yep. It was supposed to be just 4, but then it became popular and the show came along and then boom, 12 more books. It's supposed to really end with Book 16 now, but we'll see how that turns out (essentially, every 4th book was the "ending" but then they kept buying more).

Yeah, I really like Inactive- it makes me laugh every time I hear it. Lame Claim to Fame and Mission Statement are the worst ones for me, though I still enjoy them. But I generally tend to skip past them when listening to the album on short car trips.

It actually is the case. According to Wikipedia, it was a one-shot video.

Barnes and Noble kind of does this, separating contemporary/historical from fantasy/sci-fi. The problem with this is that YA is a very hybridized (probably not a word but I'm using it) genre. There are books that are historical fantasy romances, or sci-fi mystery adventure. It becomes very hard to categorize them

LOL that may have been part of the thought process though. But yes, the ITV show mentioned above was to find a Jesus for the UK arena tour (which featured Tim Minchin, Sporty Spice Melanie C, and Chris Moyles) back in 2012 and they've done a few arena tours in the time since, both in the UK and Australia that did very
