I’ve had 3 e-39 540's (the last an 03' 6speed), and my DD for the last 10 years has been an 02' M5. Obviously a huge e-39 fan. If the wheels ever fall off my M5, I’ll get another e-39. I drive the crap out of mine on a SoCal mountain, and I’ve averaged 18mpg, which I’m pretty happy with. Exclusively driving e-39's…
