YES. I was going to throw the Durango during those years in here as well. My parents had a 2003 Durango in Maroon, and my dad still says if he won the lotto, he’d pay to have someone restore one to showroom just because he liked how much it looked.

And the last version of it did not make things much better with that never-ending butt...
That’s not a refresh, that’s a whole new car
For the record. I am not a DSM fanboy. I respect the cars, but have never owned one. With that said, this was the beginning of the end for Mitsubishi.
Even the redesign doesn't look happy what happened.
Currently it is the Camaro in the #1 spot. But BMW and the nostrils from a Balrog is a very close second.
“Is it a kit car?”
The Zonda is defined by extensive structural carbon fiber and the famously extravagant interior fittings. This is plastic over a tube frame with an interior like a gym bag.
It’s such an unconventional shape that I’m surprised it has almost universal appeal. I try to be nuanced and balanced when I comment about aesthetics since they’re definitely subjective, but this car seems to be objectively pretty.
I’m no designer, but to me the Commendatore was always the absolute perfect shape for a hypercar. Smooth and sensuous, but also completely, brutally functional. I feel like Koenigsegg is the only one that’s come close nowadays to the aesthetic with the smooth shape of the Regera with its retractable wing.
Holy crap that thing was 5" LONGER than a 2021 Cadillac Escalade ESV. How did anyone park those things??
That thing is so massive, black holes get sucked into IT.
200 years of American greatness culminated in the perfect execution of the pinnacle of luxury land yachts. I present to you the 1976 Chrysler New Yorker.
You do realize there’s just a bit of a weight difference between the two, right?
yeah, cause a 3400 lbs front wheel drive sedan surely has the same driving characteristics as a purpose built rally homologation special that weighs 400 lbs less.....
You think that a 4500lb Camry with 30 more horsepower will be faster than a 2800lb YarisGR?
It looks like the automotive form of an “up and coming” youtube star. I can hear that truck begging me to like and subscribe.....you’re trying too hard and its inescapably obvious.
Finding an automobile utterly awful doesn’t mean jack shit about toxic masculinity. It’s a terrible design driven by a CEO surrounded by sycophants. I mostly hate it because the specs (if they live up to Teslas claims) are awesome. But the design will greatly hinder sales and only feed into the shitty Tesla fanboi…
I get that tesla has a cult like following with some, and Elon has plenty of indefensible statements, but all car enthusiast circles are just as dumb with the groupthink. I’d take obnoxious Tesla owners that try to make the planet more hospitable over the toxic masculinity truck bro that wants to poison your air any…
